On December 19, 2021, a regular conference was held, organized as part of an educational project together with the Turkish Republics Ophthalmology Society. Such online mini-conferences dedicated to various aspects of ophthalmology are traditionally held several times a year, where ophthalmologists and lecturers from various countries can participate: Turkey, Azerbaijan, Russia, Northern Cyprus, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, etc.

This time the conference was devoted to uveitis, which can both mimic various systemic diseases at presentation or develop isolatedly.  About 200 listeners attended the conference; ophthalmologists from Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan presented 6 reports.

Russia was represented by Ufa Eye Research Institute MD. Zaynutdinova G.H. delivered a lecture on "Herpesvirus as a cause of refractory autoimmune uveitis. Treatment strategies"

         Participation in the conference allows us to share our results and achievements, get acquainted with the trends in the treatment of various inflammatory diseases of the eye and discuss the problems of modern ophthalmology.
