Dear colleagues!

The XII International Conference on Ophthalmology East–West will be held in Ufa on June 2-3, 2022. The name of our conference is fully justified, because ophthalmologists from all over the world constantly take part in its work. Leading experts from Japan, India, Singapore, Malaysia, and Pakistan have repeatedly represented the Eastern countries. There is a very wide representation of well-known ophthalmologists from Western countries - Austria, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Portugal, USA, Switzerland, etc. We also had guests from Africa, in particular, Nigeria. Every year, ophthalmologists from all over Russia and our neighboring countries (Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Belarus) take part in the conference.

The following events will be making up the conference,:

• lecture sessions of Russian and foreign scientific societies,
•  surgical demonstrations, satellite symposia,
•  Wetlab courses
•  interactive poster and video session,
•  online broadcast of the conference,
• exhibition of ophthalmic equipment, instruments and scientific literature.

    We also invite you to submit your manuscripts to our scientific journal 'Point of view. East-West'. The journal publishes original scientific research, thematic literature reviews, problem-solving experiences, rare cases from clinical practice. .
